Transition periods are difficult.
From high school to college
From living at home to living on your own
From Miami, FL to New Orleans, LA
Miami is a big city, but I didn't live in the huge city portion, so transitioning to New Orleans was kind of a big deal. It's beautiful here. And there is so much history that not a lot of people know about.
When asked about New Orleans before I decided to come to school here, people always said, "You are going to have so much fun! Bourbon Street!"
But there is a lot more to New Orleans than what people think.
While I have been here, I have been able to be an extra on multiple television shows (which is what I want to do; not be an extra but a lead character). I got to learn what it's like on set for these actors everyday and I fell more and more in love with film everyday I was on set.
While being here I have also been given a chance to walk in Jackson Square which, although small, is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. While I was walking through it, a street performer was playing a grand piano just outside of it and I felt as if I was in a dream. Me standing around beautiful nature, beautiful artwork, and beautiful music. It felt like heaven.
