While watching the video on New Orleans in class yesterday, I was fascinated by the street vendor who shouted out every item he had in a song. He reminded me of the Okra Man who goes around the city with his truck attached to a speaker and everybody can hear what he has to offer. It is an amazing affiliation to New Orleans culture but sort of odd. Simply because no one directly knows where he will be everyday, it's a surprise whenever someone will encounter the Okra Man.
