The Uncertaintity of the Weather
One true characteristic the New Orleans does not share with many places around the world is the weather. Anywhere else right now it would feel like December weather, however in New Orleans for the past few days we've been through phases of weather that changes consistently. Recognize that just last week was thanksgiving and the temperature represented rather cold weather. But today, in the month of December, the weather is sort of a mystery. One minute it is raining the next it is as hot as a summer's day and then weather men report that their will be a could front coming. Moreover, one thing that I have learned since growing up in New Orleans is that the weather is one of the most consistently changing things there is.
