Frank Davis Dies at 71

New Orleans television personality Frank Davis died at the age of 71. Davis was known widely through the city for his love of the outdoors, cuisine, carnival, and for having a good time. His unmistakable New Orleans accent was a favorite of many on the WWL stations. He probably will be best remembered for his jovial tag line “Naturally N’ Awlins” that concluded his interviews.  He hosted a cooking demonstration every Tuesday on WWL, and he was known for keeping his eyes on the parades.  He never missed a parade, no matter rain or shine. He was the quintessential "New Orleans Renaissance Man." He could tell you about the best fishing spots in the wetlands, cook you a delicious meal, and then take you to a parade where he could easily catch the most throws. He will be missed very much.
